Weddings in the Meeting House
Minister’s Message
As a Unitarian Universalist minister, I welcome the gift of presiding at marriages of male and female, male and male, and female and female. I welcome the gift of celebrating marriages that are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexual. I applaud the State of Massachusetts for making legal what a short time ago was not legal, and I will do all in my power to retain that legal affirmation of the bond of love, however it is expressed across sexual preference.

Love comes at such a premium for any of us, I can only celebrate it when a couple comes to me asking that I serve as the celebrant of their commitment to one another in the bond of love known as marriage.

Abigail Alves
Abigail schedules, organizes, and coordinates the use of the Meeting House and Parish House for special events such as weddings, memorial services, and receptions. She meets with prospective users of the building, helps to plan the event within the guide lines for the building, and is present during the event.

Hello,
I recently got engaged and am planning a wedding in Cohasset for August 12, 2011. My mother used to work at your church as the Religious Education Director and I was Christened there, so we would love to have our wedding ceremony at your church. Do you have room for a wedding ceremony on August 12?
