First Parish is excited to announce two community volunteer opportunities this November!

1. All skill levels from beginner to expert, age 18 and older, are encouraged to join the “First Parish Crew” on Saturday, 11/9/24, from 8:30a-3:30p for a local Habitat for Humanity Build at 808 and 810 Jerusalem Road in Cohasset.  Here’s the  LINK  to learn more, register, and watch the safety video for this team (of ten) building event!  Then email admin@firstparishcohasset.org to let us know you have joined the team.  Lastly, please issue check for $50 payable to First Parish Cohasset (we send a $500 participation donation to Habitat for Humanity from the whole team) and mail to 23 N. Main St. Cohasset, MA  02025.  Note: participants should wear sturdy shoes, appropriate clothing, and bring a water bottle and lunch. Together, we can “make” a difference!
2. First Parish will also send volunteers of all ages to End Hunger New England on Saturday, 11/23/24, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm. The warehouse is at 203 Oak Street, Pembroke, MA, awning #7.
